Warehoused crates, internally stored wooden containers or 'Deep' storage

This kind of storage is probably the least common and, to an extent, the least convenient type of storage available.  More suitable for packing your belongings for long term storage or relocation.  Your belonging would usually be sealed into the wooden crate and kept within an warehouse of some kind so this is not storage to consider if you will want to get access to your belongings whilst they are stored.

Advantages

  • Good for long term storage and transportation
  • Good protection from damage

Disadvantages

  • Storage crate contents are inaccessible
  • Not ideal for heavy or cumbersome items due to difficulty packing

Typical storage insurance cost for £5000 cover, per month - £21.80 – £250.00 policy excess (does not include moth & vermin cover)
